Who is ImmortalFlux?
ImmortalFlux is a Romanian born independent digital musician.
How it all started ...
I think it was 1997 when I found a program called Fast Tracker 2.08. Who knew then that I will become a tracker one day.
The first nick I gave myself (as every normal tracker should) was Immortal Flux. Lame right? Well, It had some meaning behind it, you know immortal = always and flux = change, but that didn't last long. Even though I'm not into dj-ing nor mixing (although I have a few tracked songs which are remixes), I simply said Dj Flux which was the nickname I used until a few years ago. Recently though I've gone back to the roots, since I'm not a real DJ.
So ImmortalFlux is back again, and 2011 is the year the world will hear my sound...
and hopefully like it :-)
I'm a self taught musician. The first music I ever created were on the amazing DOS tracker software called FastTracker 2.08. If you don't know anything about tracking, read about it here.
I usually like to create house/techno music. Sometimes I make rock/metal and even slow songs too. Depends on the day.
Oh yes, how could I forget. Who is the most influential tracker for me? Well, when I started out I was impressed by Dj Kike (Enrique Dubois). I really loved his style and it was a good source of inspiration for me when starting out.
